Eternal Awakenings Faith Based is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 306 Saint Paul St in Gonzales, Texas. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Eternal Awakenings Faith Based. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Eternal Awakenings Faith Based.
If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Eternal Awakenings Faith Based, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.
The staff members at Eternal Awakenings Faith Based have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Eternal Awakenings Faith Based. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.
Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Eternal Awakenings Faith Based can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Good people
Eternal Awakenings saved my life. I am forever blessed finding this wonderful place. Praise God!
I entered Eternal Awakenings on October 31, 2007. I was there for 90 days. I can honestly say that EA saved my life. I will never forget that first encounter with Jim and Karla Welch. I was met with love and compassion. I was on the edge of death and was ready to end my life when I walked in that first day. I had just buried my mother 2 days earlier and had literally lost everything and everybody in my life. Over the next 90 days I received and developed the spiritual, mental and physical foundations to go back into the "real world". I am so thankful to Jim and Karla for allowing God to work through them to not only save my life, but to teach me that God was always in my life and will continue to be there for me in every situation. It was there that I learned the true meaning of acceptance and trust. I have learned that in every situation I pray about it, take action and then trust the results to God and accept those results as I know that He is in control and knows the best for me and those around me. I may not agree or always like the results but I accept them and move on. Because of that I now live a life of peace, happiness and serenity like I have never known. I also learned to think of others instead of myself and how serving others helps to be me sober physically, spiritually and mentally. I now have 9 1/2 years of sobriety but continue to live one day at a time and face it with God every day. I have learned to live and face every day and situation without drugs and alcohol. This miracle has taken place in my life because Jim and Karla were patient, persistent, understanding, compassionate and showed an unconditional love I had never known. I would highly recommend anyone with addiction or alcoholism go to EA. I will forever be grateful to Jim and Karla being there for me in my darkest days of my life and being willing to truly show me the light.
I had the greatest experience at Eternal Awakenings. I believe it was an answer to prayer and not only mine but the prayers of my family. The staff is great they treated me with great respect they taught me that my problem was a disease and with the help of God I can overcome anything. Truly amazing happy and thrilling things happened to me 8 years ago during those months at EA. If you need help please choose Eternal Awakenings.
My experience at Eternal Awakenings was the BEST THING that ever happened to me, honestly. I was there from 2009-2010, recovering from many issues, including a nearly nervous breakdown, drug abuse, prescription drug abuse and alcoholism. This occurred in my fifties, after a thirty year marriage that was quite crowded. I grew up as a Catholic with Irish parents who only knew Catholicism as their faith. We were never familiar with The Bible, and it was there at Eternal Awakenings, where I began to see life in a whole new view. Truthfully, I was most likely one of the most angry and defiant people they had ever had to deal with, but they planted a seed in my heart and mind about giving my life up to The Lord. Here I am, seven years later and my entire life has changed, thanks to Jim and Karla Welch and the staff they had during my stay. I still keep in touch with Jim, how could I NOT, after what he did for me? I thank God every morning for Eternal Awakenings, for it was my stay there that brought me out of dire hopelessness and despair. I would highly recommend this Christian rehab facility to anyone of any age who finds themselves a slave to their addiction. Thank You Jim and Karla Welch for guiding me in the right and only direction to recovery.
Nothing short of a miracle! 😀
I made many new and wonderful friends who could relate to what I was going through. It was a Christian environment that kept us focused on the Lord. It was only by His grace that this rehab was effective. I miss the friends I met there and hope they are all okay. I was there in 2006.
